Assalamu'alaikum and good day,
Today I would like to share free D.I.Y. printables of Flash Cards - 100 Key Words In English.with Peter and Jane, published by Ladybird.
I’ve typed all these words in Power Point file to make wall decoration. To
use this printable, you can print in A4 size, then you cut the paper by 4. You
can choose to laminate or print it on cardstock for durability. Or you can opt
to insert in 4R size picture album or in old cd album and make it like a book. If you want to have
printable copy, you can use the pdf file. You can have editable power point
file if you wish to edit the flash cards according to your preferences. Always
do print review first to avoid ink wastage in case any mistakes happened.

ENSURING SUCCESS WITH KEY WORDS FLASH CARDS
Using Key Words flash cards helps children recall a word on sight, which in
turn helps with reading, spelling and building sentences of their own. Children
learn quickly when they are having fun. Below are some tips for playing games
with these cards.
-You can begin by selecting words important to your child, making your own
cards, if necessary. These could include your child's name, the name of their
pet or 'Mummy'. Explain what the words say and talk about the letters and
sounds. Can your child recognise the words as you hold up the cards? Can he or
she pick them out from a small group of their flash cards?
-When these words are recognised, progress to another small group of cards.
-Games help develop memory :you can use toys to help you mime position words such as 'in', 'on', 'up', 'down, 'over'. Can your child find the card that says the word?
-You can also use the cards to make short sentences together : I am
big/little. It is old/new. We have one/two.
